"On the Hoof: Dixon is very well-proportioned and has good overall size at close 6 feet 2. His lower body is very muscular and his long frame can add at least another 15 pounds. He almost has the appearance of a small but very athletic outside linebacker.
Needs Improvement: Dixon must run his feet after contact at the next level when he'll be facing players that are bigger and stronger. He also needs to keep his head up just before contact for safety reasons.
Most Impressive: He is very fluid and exudes confidence as a pass defender. Dixon takes good angles when off man coverage and does a nice job of reading the quarterback's eyes.
Conclusion: Could be an impact freshman at the next level, because he is not afraid to hit and has very good ball skills. Dixon will see plenty of action on special teams. Expect him to possibly be a three-year starter with NFL potential.
